Since the arrival of the digital printer we have had to learn a lot in short time about new age printing.  The Ink-jet printing (also known as giclee print) and digital laser are the most common forms of modern printing and can be produced from a computer file image and sent directly to the printer.

With pros and cons looming, it’s safe to say that the artistic value and personal touch has been somewhat lost by this process. However, there are benefits to this form of printing, you can achieve a high volume in short amount of time and it’s a cost effective alternative with no plate or block required giving the medium a low maintenance advantage.
